If you’re a pet owner, you know the challenges of travel–especially if you need to leave your pet behind.

Now there are some helpful apps to give you a peace of mind when you leave Fluffy or Fido at home for your next trip.

Rover is an app that puts you in touch with sitters and caretakers in your area. It has a database for 10,000 cities.

Cam2Pet is a video monitoring app that lets you watch and interact with your pet when you’re not home.

Dog Sync is a very useful tool for situations in which there is more than one person in charge of watching your pet. It allows you to record and share information ranging from when the pet gets walked, fed or is given medication.

And finally, there is the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) mobile app, which

is a very important tool because it helps pet owners prepare for and handle major storms. We all know how many pets are lost when there is a severe weather situation.
