With almost 100 years of history, this location has gone through a series of changes—from a hotel to housing Newsweek, and back to a hotel. It offers a prime location and a depth of history.

Travel Weekly‘s Arnie Weissmann joins us this week to talk about expansion of luxury hotels in New York as well as the impacts of trends toward shared economy. Then, New York Historian Elizabeth Bradley depicts the history of The Knickerbocker and how the building has evolved over the last 100 years.
