Radio Guest List—the Island of Dominica—October 25, 2014

DominicaDominica is known as the “nature island” and boasts amazing ecological wonders, including lush waterfalls, hiking trails, and tropical forests. If you are looking for a Caribbean beach destination, you are not going to find it here. Instead, it’s the island of adventure.

This week, we broadcast from the Fort Young Hotel in Roseau, Dominica and catch up with some of our regular guests—as well as new locals. Joe Sharkey talks about the battle of the reclining seats and other popular airplane issues. We also get a chance to catch up with Joe Brancatelli to discuss the ever-expanding TSA pre-check program.

Finally, we talk to some locals about boats, UNESCO Cultural Sites, and Dominica cooking.
