Travelbox is a service that delivers a gift box filled with travel-related items every month. That might include something like a luggage tracking gadget, language guides, beauty products, and reusable water bottles.
It costs $33 a month, but the value of the items inside are closer to $45.
Birchbox sends out monthly gift boxes with spa and beauty products for $10 a month.
While it wasn’t created specifically for travelers, everything in the box is sample sized…meaning you can get it through security with no problem.
The Fare Trade sends out boxes filled with artisan goods from around the country. This includes everything from porcini mushrooms from Napa Valley to jars from one of the most famous pickle-makers in New York. Yes, that is a real thing.
Then, there’s a program for kids. Little Passports sends a little suitcase every month, complete with maps, letters from around the world, and other goodies to get kids excited about travel. That’s a travel gift that will last a lifetime.
