Peter Greenberg Worldwide – Hotel Diva, a Personality Hotel – March 8, 2014

Locations in this article:  San Francisco, CA

HotelDiva

Hotel Diva  isn’t just a boutique property just off Union Square….it’s a living, breathing part of  San Francisco’s history.  At one point in time, the building was used to house veterans returning home from World War II. In 1985, it reopened as the Hotel Diva, completely redesigned and modernized.

Peter delves into the stories of Personality Hotels, including the connection with author Dashiell Hammett and how its founder pioneered the concept of boutique hotels.  He also sits down with NerdWallet’s Jelena Ewart to dissect which travel credit cards you need and which you should avoid, and even gets a visit from  baseball legend Vida Blue.
