Travel Tip: Don’t Miss the View from the World’s Tallest Structures

ThereAthenian View are great views and then there are some new structures out there that offer really incredible views. Don’t miss the view from some of the world’s tallest structures.

Las Vegas is now home to the world’s tallest observation wheel, known as the High Roller. The 550-foot Ferris wheel is pretty massive—each compartment holds up to 40 people, and the entire ride takes 30 minutes to complete. It’s bigger than both the London Eye and the Singapore Flyer.

Tokyo’s skyscrapers offer some great city views, but nothing beats the Tokyo Skytree. Standing more than 2,000 feet tall, it’s surpassed only by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai as the tallest structure in the world.

Late last year, it was officially determined that One World Trade Center in New York City is the tallest building in the nation. At 1,776 feet tall, it beat out Chicago’s Willis Tower, and passed Taipei 101 in Taiwan as the third tallest building in the world. The observation deck isn’t open to the public yet, but when it is, you’ll get 360-view of the city, which promises to be pretty spectacular.
