It’s the beginning of ski season and that means there are some early ski season deals.

Thanks to a cold snap, Vermont’s Mount Snow opened two weeks earlier than usual. Instead of going over weekend or holidays like everyone else, you want to go mid-week. That will get you a lift ticket a

nd a night at Snow Lake Lodge for $75 per person.

Colorado’s Crested Butte always offers free skiing on opening day. But you can also take advantage of early season deals until December 28. That includes skiing and lodging from $79 a person.

At Arapahoe Basin, kids 14 and under can ski entirely for free between December 1-20.

And at Big Sky in Montana, you get a lot of bang for your buck, since one ticket gets you access to more than 5,700 acres of terrain.

The longer you stay, the more you save. Right now they have a deal from $114 a person that includes three nights of lodging and two days of skiing.

Pay attention because these kind of early season deals run all across the country this time of year.
