Winter Storm Travel: Delays, Cancellations & Rebooking Secrets

As the latest winter storm hits the East Coast, travelers are once again facing limited options.  Turns out when a storm hits New York, Boston or Washington, D.C., travel is disrupted throughout the country. In addition to preemptive flight cancellations, there are issues with delays and rescheduling flights.

The general rule is that for every 13 hours that you’re down it takes 36 hours to get airplanes and crew back in sequence and on schedule.
