(Auction Price – $525, Appraisal Price – $2000)

This War of 1812 officer’s sword is what I collect. And it was a deal at $525. A perfect example of sitting through a long auction and waiting for a deal…I out-waited all the big buyers. I paid a fourth of its real value. Patience!–Billy Leroy
