If we’re paying homage to the pirates of yesteryear, why not take not on the “pirates of the north” as well? Before the colonial days, the Vikings were notorious for raiding and trading along the coast of Europe for hundreds of years. Luckily, because of Oslo’s Viking Ship Museum, visitors can take a look at genuine artifacts from the Viking ships as well as hear the stories of the most dangerous pirates of the time.
