Voluntourism Spotlight: Visit London this Summer with Winant Clayton

The Olympics is making London one of this summer’s hottest destination, but London has more than just the Games. If you’re looking to travel in the UK this summer and at the same time make a difference in a local community then consider Winant Clayton Volunteers Inc.

No experience is required for this volunteer program that services a diverse group of volunteers, ranging in age from 18 to 80. Founded in 1948, this cultural exchange program brings volunteers to various community outreach programs in London working with the elderly, immigrant groups, at-risk teenagers, HIV/AIDS centers, homeless shelters and environmental projects.

Most Winant Clayton summer programs run from 9 to 12 weeks. This summer head to England from June 15 to August 15. The program fee is approximately $2,400 and covers flight, accommodation, as well as living and travel expenses.
