Show Us How You Travel: Eat & Shop in Photo Contest: Week 3

Last week’s entries showed that us that small travel mishaps make great stories and even better photos. We learned that it takes more than getting on the wrong bus, being delayed by snow or trapped by a herd of cows to set back your travel adventures.

  • Tom and Yvonne Sheley are the Most Likely to Turn Getting Lost into an Excursion.
  • The Best at Stopping to Smell the Flowers goes to Tiffany Martinbrough, whose hike through the Grand Canyon filled us with a sublime sense of awe.
  • The Most Adorable photo of an animal came from Tom Gottleib.
  • Last week’s winner, Sharon Miceli took the best photo of architecture after snow delayed her ship and her wonderful hosts lead a memorable tour through a small nearby town.
  • Anne Ake deserves a nod for staying positive and taking a picture when a herd of cows decided to cross the road and block traffic during her trip to Costa Rica.

Sevilla, Spain. Credit Stephanie Mueller

In the end, Stephanie Mueller learned one of the most valuable travel lessons. Getting on the wrong bus doesn’t have to ruin your day and in the case of Stephanie’s trip to Sevilla, Spain, getting lost made her day. Congratulations on discovering a lesser known Roman amphitheater and winning week 2 of our photo contest.
