Off-Season Luxury Abroad

Nothing say patriotism like taking advantage of a good deal. It’s off season in Europe which means villa rentals are increasingly affordable. Check out luxury property rental company, Beautiful Places, for deals like Les Baux in Provence, a 3-bedroom villa (sleeps 6) with exceptional views of vineyards and olive groves, maid service, pool, and your own kitchen. The cost is about $6300 for the week, which breaks down to about $175 per person, per night. Click here to see all the deals.

Cruise Booking Discounts

Princess is offering summer sales to Europe and Alaska if you book by February 28, 2012. A regular interior cabin for a Greek Isles cruise between Rome and Venice is usually about $2,150. Now you can get it for about $1,700. An Alaskan cruise plus overnight stays on land that’s normally from $2,400 is now about $2,000. For more information, visit their website.

Now is also the time to look for repositioning cruises that are setting up for the summer season.  Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas and Grandeur of the Seas are both repositioning in April. One is very short, three days from Colon, Panama to Miami, Florida from just $150 per person. The other is an exotic 15-night journey from Dubai that stops in Oman, Jordan, Egypt, and ends up in Italy, from just $700 per person.
