This year many major cities will host winter events, so take the opportunity to look for off-season deals associated with these experiences.
Winter in Los Angeles isn’t always 76 degrees and sunny, but there are plenty of events to attract visitors. DineLA is one of the largest restaurant weeks in the country with three course meals starting at just $16 a person. LA’s Discover the Arts program gets you half off some of the largest cultural venues in the city.
During the Santa Barbra Film Festival, restaurants are rolling out film and feast packages with prix fixe menus, and local hotels are discounting for the event.
And of course there’s NYC’s Winter Restaurant Week, from late January through early February. And if you visit nycgo.com, you’ll see a deal that knocks $75 off hotel bookings at the same time.
But your best bet is to call by phone and ask a human being what deals they have that may be in conjunction with one of these local events.
