Have you ever wanted to see what actually goes into making your favorite t.v. show or movie? There are many different ways to go behind the scenes. Remember most studio tours and taping options are in Los Angeles or New York.
In New York, you can get advanced tickets to The Late Show with David Letterman, Live with Regis and Kelly, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Smaller shows across the country also offer tickets online. Want to know the best part? These tickets are usually easy to get.
Remember if you are in the studio audience, you do not get to wander the set, so you might want to consider a studio tour.
Many of the studios in Los Angeles offer tours. You know you can tour Universal Studios, but you can also tour ABC, NBC, Paramount, and Sony. MGM does not have an official studio tour, but their grounds are open to the public.
My favorite tour is the Warner Brothers’ Studio tour in Burbank – it has both sitcom and movie sets and gives a detailed look at Hollywood’s past and present.
