Travel Tip: Bicycle Cafes
Sure, some cities are more bike friendly than others, but some places are taking it to new levels.

Some cities have bicycle cafes where you can literally ride in, grab some food, and get a tune up at the same time.

If you think I’m kidding, check out Cyclers Cafe in Louisville. It really is part bike shop, part cafe.

They offer maintenance and tune-ups, and sell both bicycles and barbecue!

At Angry Catfish Bicycles + Coffee in Minneapolis, customers are served more than espresso. The shop has fittings, tune-ups, and a wide selection of cycling gear.

My favorite thing about the Angry Catfish? Their baked goods come from the bakery next door which is run by a former pastry chef from the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

If you’re looking for more than a bite to eat, Mojo Bicycle Café in San Francisco offers repairs, happy hours and even wine-paired dinners. Just please don’t bike under the influence!

And in Pittsburgh, when the weather cooperates, you can ride into the outdoor Bicycle Café. The decor is actually made from old bike parts, and it’s a popular pit stop for bikers coming off the Great Allegheny Passage trail.
