Hotel & Resort Day Passes Get You Access

Locations in this article:  Nassau, Bahamas

Whether you’re looking for R&R at your cruise ship port, or you want to see how your resort measures up to others, there’s an easy way to make that happen. Just ask if the resort offers day passes.

Here’s how it works: A resort day pass gives non-guests access to the facilities and amenities.

Each one is a little different, so make sure to ask how many people it covers and what’s actually included.

Say you’re stopping in Nassau, Bahamas, on your cruise.

You can purchase a day pass at properties like The Atlantis Paradise Island or the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort.

The British Colonial Hilton Nassau has a pretty good deal: it’s priced at $55 per person and includes a $40 food and beverage credit.

You also get access to the beach and pool.

If you’re looking for an even more inclusive experience … try an all-inclusive hotel.

Sunset Resorts in Jamaica has three properties with day passes.

They cost $80 for adults and $40 for children for access to the beaches and pools, and depending on availability, you can get a hospitality room to shower and change.

At the Wyndham Rio Grande in Puerto Rico, an $80 day pass allows two adults and two children to have access to a day room as well as resort amenities.

Just remember that these passes all depend on availability and are often limited, which means it pays to plan ahead.
