Family Golf Vacations

Locations in this article:  Orlando, FL Phoenix, AZ Tucson, AZ

It’s one thing to take a golf vacation for some quiet time on the course. But when the kids are out of school, why not bring them along? Some golf destinations are more accommodating to families than you might expect.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is practically synonymous with golf.

The Summer Family Golf Program is a series of golf tournaments that take place around Myrtle Beach.

Adults pay $40-$60 depending on the course, and kids under 16 golf for free.

If the whole family needs lessons, then check out the Hilton Golf Academy.

This all-inclusive program is available at Hilton Hotels in Phoenix, Tucson, Santa Fe and, oh yeah, Myrtle Beach.

The program will cost about $1,000-$1,500 per person, including accommodation, family golf lessons, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, even golf shoes!

And while Orlando, Florida is generally a family friendly destination, the Grand Lakes Hotel takes it a step further with “Golf Etiquette” lessons for kids.
