Bed & Breakfast Loyalty Programs, Downsizing the Major Hotel Chain Model

Sure you’ve heard of loyalty programs at major chain hotels, but what about at bed and breakfasts? There are at least 1,200 bed and breakfasts around the country that offer frequent-stay programs.

Start by checking local associations, like Wine Country Inns of Sonoma County. They offer a $25 discount on your third stay.

Sometimes entire states have B&B programs.

Missouri, for example, is offering a $100 gift certificate to visitors who get their frequent-stay card fully stamped.

Just remember that B&B programs aren’t one-sized fits all, and you won’t find any chain-wide promotion, which means that some deals are going to be better than others.

If you’re only getting $5 off after staying 10 nights, that’s not much of a deal.

But check this out: At the Texas White House in Fort Worth, you can hedge your bets against inflation.

The rates you pay on your first stay will be the same rate you pay on every stay after that, forever.
