Travel Tip: Buying Items From Your Hotel Room

Locations in this article:  Paris, France

Here’s something you may not have known about me: almost every item in my house comes from a hotel that I’ve stayed at around the world.

And guess what? You can do the same thing: Many hotels use amenities like comfortable beds and upscale spa products to attract guests … and then make those items available to bring home with you.

The Hilton Home Collection offers everything from its Serenity bed to shower heads to a portable alarm clock.

The W Hotel Store tries to extend its hip brand with funky items like acrylic furniture, fur throw rugs, and even clothing, all of which are available for purchase online.

The Radisson Guest Room Boutique sells hotel-inspired items like towels and robes, shower curtains, vanity mirrors, and night-light clocks.

If you’ve ever stayed in a Westin hotel, you’ve probably been introduced to the Heavenly Bed and chain’s signature white tea scents, all of which are for sale.

The Sofitel chain, which is based in France, sells items that are European inspired, including linens from Paris, wine glasses from Austria, and porcelain dishes from France.

And, you’ve probably heard of the famous marching ducks at the Peabody Hotel. Well, the Peabody Galleria also sells duck-themed … everything.

And in my opinion, no bathroom is complete without a rubber ducky.
