This year marks the ninth annual Grand Cayman Cookout. Originally created by Chef Eric Ripert, the Cayman Cookout brings together some of the most well-known names and personalities in the food industry, from renowned chefs to mixologists. Chef Eric Ripert joins the show to talk about the cookout’s history and what to expect from the events planned for this year, including a “bare foot barbecue.” Author of Cookin’ and Laughin’ in the Cayman Islands, Suzy Soto joins the show to share her experience in the Cayman Islands and what led her here. Lauren Stover, Former Director of Security at the Miami International Airport, gives her thoughts on the recent shooting in Fort Lauderdale.
