New Year’s Eve is just about a week away.

Before you celebrate, consider this survey done by finance website Wallet Hub.

Its analysts took a look at the best and worst cities to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

They compared the 100 biggest cities in the U.S., and looked at 20 factors that contribute to “an epic New Year’s Eve.”

The study found some interesting information.

The average price of a New Year’s Eve party ticket in Durham, North Carolina is eight times higher than one in Nashville, Tennessee.

Orlando and Miami each have nine times as many restaurants per capita as North Las Vegas, Nevada.

San Francisco, Portland, Las Vegas, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Orlando all tied for the most nightlife options per capita. Each of these cities has 19 times as many nightlife options per capita as Gilbert, Arizona.

What about staying at a three-star hotel on New Year’s Eve? Bakersfield, California has the lowest rate, whereas a night in either Honolulu or Henderson, Nevada costs six times as much.
