Travel Tip: Travel Apps That Can Help You at the Airport

airportGetting to—and through—airports is getting tougher, especially if you value your time.

If you’re like me you want to get to an airport, check your email, and board the flight as soon as possible.

There are now some travel apps on the market that can really help.

One is called Flio Flio, and it automatically searches for free WiFi at more than 350 airports.

You don’t have to sit at your laptop entering all sorts of personal information and codes every time you want to log on. The app does it for you.

Then, if you want to know if your flight is on time, the departure board is probably the last place you should look to find the truth.

Instead, check out an app called FlightView Elite. What’s cool about this app is that it doesn’t just duplicate airport or airline flight departure or arrival lists.

It digs deeper to give you the information you really need.

Once you put in your flight number, it tracks the aircraft assigned to that flight number.

It knows where the aircraft is, and what time it will land at your airport.

Remember, if the plane doesn’t land on time, it can’t leave on time.

If you don’t know which aircraft that is, all that departure board information at the airport is meaningless.
