Travel Tip: Where are the Real Bargains?
When you’re traveling you might be tempted to do a little bargain shopping, but where are the real bargains?
The answers might surprise you.
A new survey from Deutsche Bank looked at real purchasing powers of travelers and items ranging from an iPhone 6 to a pair of jeans to a new car.
Where do you think the cheapest place to buy iPhone 6 is?
Hey, don’t leave home. It’s right here in the U.S. at around $650.
In Brazil that same iPhone will cost you $1200.
Want a new pair of Levis? Then head to India, where they’ll cost you about $34.
And while the iPhone is way too expensive in Brazil, you’ll actually be shopping for a new pair of Adidas there.
Why? They’ll only cost you $49. But they’re $72 in Mexico.
Whatever you do, don’t buy those same shoes in France. The average price is $130.
