Just when you thought cruise ships couldn’t get any bigger, get ready for a new cruise ship that’s five times bigger than the R.M.S. Titanic.

Weighing in at 227,000 tons, Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas is now the largest cruise ship on the planet.

It’s more than 1,180 feet long. That’s actually 164 feet longer than the Eiffel Tower is high.

It will hold nearly 5,500 people.

Plus, here’s a staggering fact about this megaship: 970,000 square feet of carpeting will be used.

That’s equal to almost 17 football fields.

Want a drink? No problem. The ship will even feature robotic bartenders.
