Just when you thought the challenge of airline seats — and airline seating — couldn’t get any more difficult, consider this.

A French aircraft maker has announced plans to build planes with passenger seating inside the cargo hold.

I’m serious…or at least they are.

The downstairs seats, according to the manufacturer, will be equipped with video screens so that the passengers can see what they’re missing upstairs.

For those of you tired of the center seat in coach, there’s a new app about to launch called Seateroo.

It allows travelers to pay other passengers to swap seats after boarding their flight.
