escape 3This week, the Peter Greenberg Worldwide Radio Show broadcasts aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest addition—the Norwegian Escape. The 164,600 ton ship departs from Miami each week and heads to Southampton in the United Kingdom, which is where the Peter Greenberg Worldwide Radio is broadcasting. The Norwegian Escape is Norwegian’s largest cruise ship, holding 4,200 guests. It offers Tony-Award winning entertainment, an award-winning Iron Chef, and outdoor activities for the entire family, including the largest ropes course at sea and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed miniature golf course.

While we are on board, we have some of the ship’s crew members here to tell us all about the ship and how many restaurants and bars there are. We’ll also be stepping back into history with cruise historian Peter Newall as he explains the past of some cruise ships. Travel Writer Sue Bryant is here to discuss cruising culture as well as changing options and innovations. Bruce Wallin of Robb Report shares information about 21 luxury destinations you can visit in 2016. Additionally, Telegraph Cruise Editor Teresa Machan will provide insight into the cruise trends today and sheds light on what you can expect in the coming years. Peter Newall, Cruise Historian and Author of maritime books, will walk us through some of the fascinating history of past ships.

Sue Bryant, Travel Writer and Editor, will explore the cruise culture and the ever-changing options and activities available while cruising. She will also discuss the demographics and social scene one can encounter while on a cruise.

Andy Stuart, President and Chief Operating Officer for Norwegian Cruise Line, will discuss the evolution of the cruise ship and the adjustments being made for a new surge of Chinese passengers.

Klaus Lugmaier, Regional Vice President of Fleet Hotel Operations for Norwegian, will focus on the overwhelming challenges the crew and staff have keeping a cruise ship of this scale running. Through the various choices of fine dining, bars, and upscale suites, Klaus will give a descriptive overview of what to expect on this ship.

Teresa Machan, Cruise Editor of The Telegraph, will sit down to review the trends and opportunities available through the cruising world. She will also discuss the cruise industry’s constant search and effort to stay fresh and original.

Wes Court, Senior Director of Food & Beverage on Norwegian Escape, will talk about the numerous choices of dining and drinking aboard Norwegian’s newest and largest cruise ship.
