By now you’ve heard about selfie sticks. Most people seem to hate them, but a whole lot of people seem to have them.
Here are some less annoying alternatives to selfie sticks.
Selfie sticks—which are simply portable sticks that attach to your camera phone—are being banned in many places. Not only are they annoying, but they’re a safety hazard.
As an alternative, Anti-Gravity Case suctions on to a flat surface—walls, doors, windows—so you can take a selfie without extending your arms.
Another strategy is to get a wide-angled lens to capture your full image. The Olloclip actually clips on to your smartphone, and works with both the front- and rear-facing cameras to get that wide-angle shot.
Or download an app to help you. The Cam Me app lets you take a picture of yourself without having to touch the camera! You activate it with hand gestures.
