Travel Tip: Travel Apps That Can Help You Tell Local Time
Not only can travel wreak havoc on your schedule, it can make it impossible to figure out the local time both at home and in your destination. Fortunately, with newly developed travel apps, there are ways to tell local time.
The World Clock app from TimeandDate.com has a lot of time-related tools that can help you.
Not only does it show the correct time in different zones, but it also spells out the time difference as well as when Daylight Savings begins and ends.
The premium version for $1.99 also has a time zone converter.
Pilot Time was developed by—you guessed it—pilots. It automatically shows you the local, military, and Universal time all at once.
Plus, it lets you convert the time between city pairs and save that information.
But if all those time changes lead to jet lag, check out JetLag Genie or Jet Lag App. Both apps give you suggestions on how to adjust to the local time, based on where you’re traveling and your usual sleep patterns.
It won’t tell the time for you, but it’ll help make sure you don’t sleep through your alarm clock!
