Thanks to technology, there are ways to find and research the best activities and experiences at your destination.
Viator is basically a one-stop-shop for booking activities at over 1,500 destinations. They’ve been around almost 20 years, which means they have long-standing partnerships with local operators.
You can even find some cool VIP experiences, like a trip to Niagara Falls by private plane, or a personal tour of the Royal Quarters in Versailles.
A newer site is called Peek.com. These guys went straight to the experts to find insider activities, like Wolfgang Puck’s favorite places to eat in Los Angeles.
Plus, if you want to figure out a perfect day in New York City…there are some tips from yours truly up there!
Travelzoo, which was traditionally known for its deals on airfare and hotels, now has an app that will find deals based on your specific location.
So, as soon as you get off the plane, you can find discounts on dinner that night, spa treatments, or nearby attractions.
