“Eat Ice Cream. Be Happy” is the tagline for the Creole Creamery in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Here you can order traditional flavors like Vanilla and Chocolate, but you can also find a variety of over 50 flavors, like White Chocolate Bread Pudding, Scotch Bonnet Citrus, Lavender Honey, and Apricot-Grand Marnier. They also have an assortment of sorbets, sherbets, and ice flavors, like Balsamic Strawberry and Blood Orange.

At Creole Creamery, you can get the classic ice cream treats, such as banana split, sundaes, milkshakes, and ice cream floats, but also creamery specialties, such as the Sky Scraper and a Peanut Butter Fudge Sundae.

The Sky Scraper is their tallest creation. It is made with scoops of cookies and cream, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream, layered with caramel, hot fudge, and crushed Oreo cookies. All of this is then topped off with, of course, whipped cream and a cherry.

For those daring enough, you can take part in the Tchoupitoulas Challenge, which features their most outrageous specialty sundae yet. Made with eight scoops of ice cream, your choice of eight toppings, whipped cream, cherries, and wafers, this sundae is gigantic. If you finish it without help, your name will be added to their hall of fame plaque.

Check out other ice cream shops around the country that you can visit for National Ice Cream Month.
