Dania Beach, Florida
Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlor has a history even more rich than its ice cream. The shop opened in Dania Beach, Florida, in 1956, and has remained a local favorite ever since.
Located a stone’s throw from the beach and directly off of the Federal Highway, Jaxson’s is a staple in this small community, just south of Fort Lauderdale.
Over the years, the diner has remained true to its original mission: to produce high quality food and ice cream for its local patrons and visitors.
The diner not only serves classic burgers, salads, and deli sandwiches, but also features an old fashioned candy shop, as well as homemade ice cream.
Jaxson’s will have nearly 40 flavors to choose from on any given day, ranging from the classic chocolate, strawberry, and Rocky Road, to sweet, Southern favorites like Butter Almond, Praline Pecan, Banana, Peach, and Pina Colada.
After nearly 60 years in the business, Jaxson’s remains as popular as ever.
