Why Airlines Are Against Preclearance in Abu Dhabi
Waiting to go through customs when flying back to the U.S. can be a tiresome experience after a long flight. Today, Peter Greenberg went on CBS This Morning to discuss a new U.S. Customs Preclearance facility in the Abu Dhabi International Airport. As Peter reported last week, airlines in the Persian Gulf are expanding rapidly and aim to make the area a crossroads for international travel. But some airline execs have been vocal in their reaction against having Preclearance in Abu Dhabi.
