New Years’ week is one of the most expensive periods for travel. According to Orbitz, the average room rate for the top 10 most popular New Year’s Eve destinations is anywhere from $131 to $600. Most of those of rates don’t include anything but the actual stay. But you don’t have to fall for that trap.
