How JetBlue is Preparing for the Thanksgiving Storm

Yesterday, Peter shared you everything you can do to keep your flight on track despite the Thanksgiving storm. Today, we’re taking a look at how an airline prepares when one of the busiest travel days coincides with the first major storm.

The JetBlue system operations center just outside JFK International Airports tracks the airline’s 750 daily flights. In the face of the Thanksgiving storm, JetBlue is in a difficult position with 80 percent of its airplanes on routes in the affected Northeast. But there are plans in place to keep passengers informed of cancellations and delays and to keep the system moving as best as possible.
