There’s no rush to get off the plane once you land in Chicago in November. Passengers here can wait more than three and half hours to be processed through customs. If the airport added one more Customs and Border Protection officer, wait times could be reduced by nearly 5 percent. The airport is making changes however. ORD has implemented a paperless processing system making it possible to clear some passengers in less than 30 minutes.
