It’s Easter weekend and the first signs of spring are here. It’s been a long cold winter for the East Coast, but now the flowers are starting to bloom. From cherry blossom festivals to marshmallow Peep art, get out and celebrate the upcoming season!
Baby Animals: Real and in PEEP Form
Spring isn’t just about flowers, it is also the season of rebirth, celebration of life and culture. If cute animals are your thing, check out one of the three locations of the Farm Sanctuary, an organization that promotes rescue, education, and advocacy.
For an alternative to live animals, consider an interesting candy art show, made entirely of our favorite adorable marshmallow PEEPS! Visitors experience a host of imaginative landscapes made of the edible delights; exhibits will be held in Wisconsin at Riverfront Arts Center in Stevens Point and Maryland at Carroll County Arts Council in Westminster.
