Stuck on a long layover or a delayed flight? Some airports now have new and unexpected activities and amenities to keep you busy for hours. It’s no longer just fast-food restaurants and magazine stands.
When it comes to shopping, in Las Vegas the new Terminal 3 has a 10,000-square-foot duty free store as well as the Liquor Library, the first non-duty free liquor store in a U.S. airport where you can stock up on all your liquor needs before hitting the casinos.
Dining options have also improved. In Seattle, you’ll find state and city favorites at the airport including Pike Place’s Beecher Cheese, Ivar’s Fish and Chips and Anthony’s Homeport & Fish Bar, which is thought to be the is the highest grossing airport restaurant in North America.
