Natural Phenomena Tours: Eclipses, Northern Lights and Monsoons

Locations in this article:  Orlando, FL Tucson, AZ

If you’re bored with the same old activities when you travel, why not make it a spectacle and go check out a natural phenomenon?

On July 22, the total eclipse of the sun will be visible throughout northern India, eastern Nepal, even some Pacific islands.

Orlando-based Eclipse Traveler offers several trips to Asia in July. On the day of the eclipse you’ll be at the summit of Mount Emei.

Ring of Fire Expeditions actually has a NASA expert guiding a trip through China and Tibet.

Then there are the Northern Lights, which are best viewed in wintertime.

You really want to see them in Antarctica or Alaska, but Canada is also a great option.

And between July and September, Southern Arizona is the place to see spectacular monsoon lightning showers.

Saguerro National Park is a great backdrop.

Or you can travel with Canada Goose Adventure Tours on a monsoon photo safari tour with a real storm chaser.

You’ll be based in Tucson, Arizona, also known as “The Lightning Photography Capital of the World.”
