Cheap and Useful Travel Gadgets for Less Than $50

Useful travel gear can save a lot of hassle, but they can also be pricey. But it’s actually possible to find handy gadgets for $50 or less.

Now that it can cost hundreds to check overweight bags, luggage scales are the latest trend.

Both Travel Light and Travel On have scales for about $25.

Now here’s an offbeat one. For about $9, there’s a contraption called ToGo.

It straps your coffee cup to your rolling bag.

That means your coffee cup will remain upright while you run to catch your flight.

And if you’re planning on traveling off the grid, you might want to bring along a solar-powered charger.

They’re more affordable than ever.

Everlight has an e-solar charger to recharge your cell phone or iPod that costs fifty bucks.

And lastly, there’s a great new product out there for traveling with kids. It’s called the Zoobie.

It’s actually a stuffed animal, but when you open it up, it becomes a pillow with a detachable blanket.

A price tag of $35 may be steep for a stuffed animal, but it may be worth it if it means your child gets to go to sleep easily on the road.
