Exercise Travel Vacations Offered in Various Cities Worldwide

Have you ever arrived at your hotel’s gym only to find a broken treadmill and a mismatched set of weights? Well in some hotels they’re actually taking guests out of the gym for some very unusual workouts.

At the Rome Cavallieri Hilton, you can do as the Romans did and learn to be a gladiator. Guests can dress up in full gladiator gear and head to the hotel’s private park to learn ancient combat techniques.

AKA extended stay hotels in New York will set you up with a personal trainer to get you in shape during your visit.

Your exercise routine may include jogging in Central Park, biking across the Brooklyn Bridge, or climbing – that’s right, climbing – to the top of the Empire State Building.

And on the West coast, Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco in Seattle has a unique program where you can go jogging with the hotel’s assistant general manager.

Of course, even if your hotel doesn’t have these kinds of options, just use them as an inspiration to get out of the dingy gym and get to know a city the healthy way – outside the building.
