Presidential Themed Travel Destinations

Of course you can always travel to Washington D.C. to learn about our nation’s presidents, but as we say goodbye to one leader and welcome another, why not take a tour of some of the lesser-known presidential destinations?

Want to know how it feels to be President?

Well for starters, at the American Presidential Museum in Branson, Missouri, there’s a full-scale model of the Oval Office.

Want to get on Air Force One? They’ve got half of it anyhow, and you can see what it’s like to fly Presidential-style.

You probably already know that Williamsburg, Virginia, is a place to celebrate history, but it’s also the home of Presidents Park.

This 10-acre complex features 18-foot-high busts of all 42 presidents, plus displays marking major defining moments in American history such as the Constitutional Convention, and of course September 11, 2001.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California is perhaps the biggest in the country.
