Vegetarian Hotel Food for Vegans on the Road

If you’re a vegetarian and staying at a hotel, chances are your room-service options are pretty limited. But some hotels and inns score better than others.

The website GoVeg.com conducted a survey of the countries top hotel chains and found that Hyatt Hotels and the Ritz-Carlton scored the highest for vegetarian options.

Of course, that’s going to depend in what region you are traveling in.

In California, Boston and New York, chances are there’ s probably a signature vegetarian dish somewhere in the menu.

In Texas, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it ain’t fruit.

Another option is to seek out lodgings that actively promote the vegetarian lifestyle.

In Mendocino County, Raven’s Restaurant at the Stanford Inn only serves organic vegetarian breakfast and dinners are entirely vegan.

And guess what? It’s pretty good.

If you’re really craving a vegetarian surrounding, head to a healthy-leading resort like Rancho La Puerta.
