Inexpensive Eats in Paris

Locations in this article:  Paris, France

Have you heard the hype about the Michelin-starred restaurant inside the Eiffel Tower? Well, instead of spending $200 on dinner, try one of these alternatives that still give you bragging rights … without having to say “adieu” to your paycheck.

If you head to the 65th floor of the 700-foot tall Tour Montparnasse skyscraper, you can dine in style at La Ciel de Paris.

The restaurant has a 360-degree view of the city, but without sky-high prices—a set menu dinner costs about $50 on weekdays.

Or check out Café de l’Homme, a restaurant that boasts one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower, and entrees that cost about $25 per person.

And, if you’re still stuck on the idea of dining inside the Eiffel Tower, skip the white tablecloth restaurant and stop at the first floor at Altitude 95.

This restaurant is located more than 300 feet in the air and you can find main courses for well under $30.
